Nirmala Convent marks the debut of senior actor Sriknath's son Roshan as a hero. King Nagarjuna played an important role in the film and he also crooned for the first time.
Directed by G.Naga Koteswara Rao, Niramal Convent has hit the screens today. Let’s see if Roshan lives to the expectations.
Story:
Shanthi(Shriya) is a daughter of rich rich landlord Bhupati Raju (Aditya Menon). Samuel (Roshan Srikanth) belongs to a poor family and his father is a small farmer in Bhupati Nagar village. He studies plus one at Niramala Convent school and Shanti is his classmate.
In a short time, both Shanti and Samuel attracted to each other and love blossoms between them.But Bhupati Raju doesn't approve Samuel for moving close with his daughter and divided them. Bhupati challenges Samuel to reach his financial status and hold Shanthi's hand. Will Samuel face that challenge? What is Nagarjuna's role? To find out the reasons, watch the film on big screen.
Performances:
For a debutante hero, Roshan is very good and is a perfect fit for his role as a teenage student. He looks good and performs with ease. King Nagarjuna plays an important role in the film and is a main asset of the film. Nagarjuna is good as ever and plays the role to perfection. His charming screen presence takes the film to another level.
Shriya Sharma is cute and suits the character of a School girl. She attracts with attractive smile and glamour as well. Tagubothu Ramesh provide some comic relief.
Others including Ravi Prakash, Sameer, Satya Krishnan and Anita Chowdhary play their parts convincingly.
Technical:
Music by Roshan Saluri is decent and backgroud score elevates many scenes. Cinematography is good, but the film could have been edited shorter. Production values are quite grand and all the songs have been shot well. Dialogues are decent and screenplay is good.
Director G Naga Koteswara Rao brings out decent performance from Roshan. The direction is also good but the film could have been far better if he added some twists. And the slow pace has affected the film to some extent. A better story would have done wonders to the film.

Analysis:
Nirmala Convent marks a decent launch pad for Roshan and sets a bright future for him. He makes a striking debut and his dialogue delivery and body language are very good.
The director chooses an youthful love story which will surely attract the youngsters. His handling of all the youthful elements and Roshan's and Bhupathi's episodes are pretty good. Roshan never appeared that it is his first film. His looks and dialogues and over all performance are good.
The director also succeeded in presenting the hero very well. But in the process, he did not do much justice to the story and screenplay. He would have taken better care in story and screenplay to make the film more better. Screenplay doesn’t grab the audiences’ interest at some places.
Nagarjuna's special appearance is one of the major highlights of the film. The film took to a new level after his entry. Though there is a bit drag in the first half, it has some good youthful elements. Many scenes in the second half turn predictable and climax is different. The film took to a different level after his entry.
Watch it for Roshan's impressive show and Nagarjuna's special role.
