Nandamuri Balakrishna who recently played the role of his father in the biographical movie 'NTR Kathanayakudu' repeated his beautiful performance as NTR in the second part of the movie 'NTR Mahanayakudu' as well. The first part of the movie ends with NTR announcing his party political party name as Telugu Desam Party.
Now the entire 'NTR Mahanayakudu' movie is going to revolve around the political journey of him. The trailer of the movie has hinted a high voltage political drama between NTR, Chandrababu Naidu and Nadendla Bhaskara Rao. Amid decent expectations, the movie has hit the screens today. Here is the review of the film.
Story: The second part, NTR Mahanayakudu is all about how NTR became successful in the elections after making an announcement regarding his political party. From election campaigning to becoming the chief minister and losing power to getting back the same, the film showcases some dramatic incidents that took place in NTR life during that time.
Performances: Nandamuri Balakrishna has undoubtedly delivered his career-best performance as Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao in the movie. Balayya has already showcased his outstanding performance in the first part and he repeated the same in the second part of the movie as well. Vidya Balan is undoubtedly the perfect pick to play the role of Basavatarakam in the movie.
She has gone into the skin of the character and delivered her best. Kalyan Ram as Nandamuri Harikrishna did his best and we can say that he has given a perfect tribute to his father by his performance. Rana Daggubati is undoubtedly the show stealer of the movie. His memorizing performance as Nara Chandrababu Naidu is extremely good. Sumanth as Nageswara Rao is seen only in one scene. Bharath Reddy justified his role really well. Sachin Khedekar got an interesting role in the movie and he has done a spectacular job. The rest of the cast made their presence felt.
Technical Aspects: The Production values of Nandamuri Balakrishna are absolutely very rich. It is evident that the actor has invested a huge amount for the movie without compromising on the quality of the film. Music by MM Keeravani is definitely an asset for the movie. His outstanding BGM will grab the attention for sure. Dialogues by Sai Madhav Burra will definitely get extra brownie points.
His emotional dialogues are really heart touching. Cinematography by Gnana Sekhar is beautiful. He has produced some sharp and colorful visuals for the movie. Editing by Arram Ramakrishna is good too.
Verdict: When compared to 'NTR Kathanayakudu', director Krish has slightly changed his narration for 'NTR Mahanayakudu' movie. His storytelling skills are extremely good. Though there are some scenes lagging scenes, Krish has narrated the story in a beautiful and respectful way. The film started off on an interesting note where we are taken to NTR childhood and the days of youth.
His upbringing and marriage were shown in an impressive way. The second part of the movie has enough political drama and Krish has presented it well in an emotional manner. Balakrishna once again proved that he is one of the best actors in this generation. On the whole, the film will be a feast for all NTR fans who will celebrate the film forever.
