Directed & Written by Sai Kiran Adivi
The most important thing we have to say about this film is that the effort to bring a good action film involving National security is appreciable. Sai Kiran Adivi tried to use every possible emotion in the book to make the film as enjoyable as possible. Even though there are some problems in the execution, Sai Kiran Adivi stays true to the characters and finds good space to include all commercial elements too.
According to the story, Arjun Pandit (Aadi Sai Kumar) is hurt for life because of Ghazi Baba (Abburi Ravi). He succeeds in cornering Ghazi but when he is faced with a choice to kill him or arrest him, due to higher official's orders, he arrests him. He decides to quit Army job but his higher officials convince him to conduct Operation Gold Fish. He has to save the daughter of External Affairs Minister from terrorists, who want to kidnap her. Does he succeed? See the film for answers ...
Aadi Sai Kumar delivers a good performance in the limited screen space he is given in the script due to the weight of the story that Sai Kiran attempted to tell. We get a tale of friendship and young love mixed with army operation. In such an unique premise, some scenes concentrate on other characters more than Aadi's. Shasha Chettri, Nithya Naresh are value additions to the long list of young actresses with good skills. All others also delivered their best. Abburi Ravi surprises you with his performance.
Editing by Gary Bh is not up to his standards but his editing skills were visible in a few crucial scenes. Sri Charan Pakala gave good BGM and cinematography is good within the budget of the film. Adivi Sai Kiran's writing in crucial scenes is good but in college scenes his writing should have been better. His execution as a director is better in scenes that involve Aadi Sai Kumar but they should have been better in college romance scenes.
The movie needs some patience through the middle portions of the First hour and Second hour, when the film story deviates from armed forces. Still, the action sequences and the exchanges between a terrorist and army person are highlights of the film. With few drawbacks which were obvious due to budget constraints, the film still gives you good weekend entertainment. You can watch the film once, just for the effort that the team has put in.
