Yet another hero, Vinith arrived with his debut film Pidugu. Directed by CH Rammohan, the film has Monica Singh in the lead role and it has hit the theaters on Friday. Let's see how the film.
Story:
Jai (Vinith) is the son of a big businessman. There is a gang in the film whose work is to woo the rich people with beautiful girls and get their properties by killing them. The same gang targets Jai and tries to attract him.
In the same time, Jai has to face problems from a person look like him. Who is that person entered into Jai's life? How will Jai face that gang? Who are behind the gang? forms the rest of the story.
Performances:
For a debut movie, Vinith's performance is good. He impresses with his dances and is also very good in fight sequences.But he has to work on his acting and face expressions. With a little more grooming, he can do very well in future. Monika Singh is ok in her role and has nothing much to do except for romantic tracks. Vinod Kumar is another asset of the film. Others including Benarjee have done what is required for the movie.
Technical:
The music of the film is below average. The placement of the songs could have been far better and come in at the wrong time to disrupt the flow of the movie. Editing is not impressive and many scenes have ended abruptly. The production values are good. Sadly, director Rammohan chooses a routine story which lacks entertainment.

Analysis:
The director should be appreciated for keeping many twists in the film and the way he reveal them is good. The main highlights of the film are interval episode and pre climax scenes. But several scenes come unnecessarily and disrupt the momentum. The forced comedy test the patience of the audience. The comedy track on 'Edu janmala Bandam' between hero and heroine has come out well. Jabardasth Phani has been wasted in a poorly etched character and fail to bring about the desired laughs.
Although Vinith is good in dances and fights, unfortunately there is less to talk about his acting skills. A lot needs to be improved.
While the youth may find the movie interesting, others may find it boring to their liking.
