Story : The film tells the story of a cartoonist (Vijay) who hates movies and movie stars. At a point of time, he is introduced to a star heroine Sameera (Aditi Rao Hydari). Vijay joins her as a Telugu tutor. What happens then? Did Vijay change his opinion on movies and heroines? How did love blossom between them? Forms the story of the film.
Performances : Sudheer Babu has developed a lot regarding performance and has given his career best in the movie. Aditi Rao Hydari has delivered a performance in the film that will stay with us for a long time. Both the actors have done their parts very well.
The characterizations have come out well for both the leads. Tanikella Bharani and senior Naresh have got substantial roles in the movie, and they impressed in their parts. Rahul Ramakrishna, Abhay Bethiganti, Harshini have tried their best to evoke some laughs. Nandoo shined in a small role, and there are a lot of cameo roles from the film industry personalities. All the cast of the movie has made their presence felt.
Technical Aspects : The cinematography by PG Vinda is excellent. The visuals are stunning. Vivek Sagar's music is one of the major highlights of the movie. Every song is pleasant, and the background score also came out well.
The editing by Marthand K Venkatesh is good. The lyrics by Siri Vennala and Rama jogaiah Sastry are excellent. The production values of Sridevi Movies are grand.
Verdict : The first half of the movie has some moments, but the slow narration brings down the excitement of the audiences. The impressive taking with Indraganti's mark scenes made the first half worthy. The primary advantage of the movie is that it has a realistic approach.
The chemistry between Sudheer Babu and Aditi Rao Hydari worked well in the film. The second half of the movie started off well but falls flat with preaching conversations. The conflict point is neglected in the second half of the film.
The director stuck to his original point and had shown the struggles of a heroine in the industry. On the whole, the movie is a decent attempt and will be one of the best films in the career of Sudheer Babu.
