Sapthagiri is one of the interesting films of the recent times. The film stars Sapthagiri playing the lead role and there are a lot of interesting aspects revolving around the movie. The actor is very confident about the movie becoming a grand success. Charan is the director of the film and Sapthagiri teamed up with his Sapthagiri Express producers for this movie. The film is the official remake of the super hit Bollywood movie Jolly LLB. Check out the review of the film here.
Story: Sapthagiri (Sapthagiri) completes his LLB. He wanted to gain a popularity and decides to move to the city. In the process, a hit and run case attracts Sapthagiri who comes to know that popular Lawyer Raj Paul (Sai Kumar) solved the case. After a deep investigation, Sapthagiri files a PIL in the court and becomes successful in re-opening the case. What happens after that is going to be interesting which forms the complete story.
Performances: The film has a good casting. Sapthagiri, in the lead, impressed everyone. Sapthagiri worked hard in trying to be a commercial hero and his hard work was not wasted. He impressed all with the performance, dances and fights. During the climax, his performance is going to impress everyone. The heroine is a new girl in the town. She has no scope to perform and fails to impress. The other actors like Sai Kumar, Siva Prasad, Shakalaka Shankar, LB Sriram, Gollapudi Maruthi Rao and the others are good in their roles and supported the lead cast.
Technicalities: The film has good camera work from Sarangam. The makers shot the movie in Foreign locations and they were explored well. The music is scored by Bulaganin. The audio album, as well as the background score, is just normal. The editing by Goutham Raju is good. The dialogues written by Paruchuri Brothers are very nice. The fights composed by Vijay are okay. The artwork is average. The film is okay in terms of the technical aspects and the new director Charan handled the project very well.
Verdict: Sapthagiri LLB is one film that comes under the category where it spoilt the original. Jolly LLB has a lot to deliver in terms of the content but the makers of this Telugu film have crossed the limitations and tried to project an emotional and thought-provoking tale as a heroic commercial tale.
Except for the performances, there is hardly anything in this movie which will impress the audiences. The comedy also goes overboard at times but it is the saving factor of the movie. The pre-interval and the climax sequences are good. On a whole, Sapthagiri LLB is a time pass flick.
