There is huge fan following for the young Tamil hero Simbhu in the film industry. The actor has did the films like Manmadha and Vallabha which did well in Telugu. Now, the actor has come up with a new film titled as Sarasudu.
The film is coming from T Rajender after a long time and he has produced the film too. Check out our review on the film now.
Story: Siva (Simbhu) is a software engineer who is working in Chennai. He is a guy who suffers constant love failure and break up. He goes for a Pelli Choopulu once and falls in love with Maila (Nayanathara). They unite and then they start facing troubles in their relationship. At around when they are ready for the marriage, due to some incidents, the proposal will be called off and Maila comes to know that Siva is in a relationship with Priya (Andrea). What happens after that forms the rest of the story.
Performances: The positive point of the film is its light hearted love story which is very cute. The love story has so many interesting points where the love travel between the guy and girl was shown in a matured manner.
The comedy touch of the film will also be a positive point for the film. It is good to see Simbhu in a class role after a lot of mass roles. He performed very well in the film. Nayanathara is too good in her role as well. The film also has Andrea in a decent role. Satya Rajesh is good and he tried his best to impress everyone.
Technical Values: T Rajender produced the film on his own banner and he maintained the production values well. The film unit failed to make the movie in an impressive manner.
The music director failed to give good music but the BGM is good. The songs are bad. The cinematography is the best part of the film. Every frame is looking colourful in the film. The editing is worst as the editor can not also change the fate of the film.
There are a lot of minus points in the film. There is no proper story in the film. The story moves forward in a routine manner. There is no proper love feel in the story too. The film has nothing great to talk about in particular. The story of the film is ordinary and even the screenplay has come up in the same way. The comedy did not work in most of the scenes. There is a complete Tamil flavour in the film which is a drawback. It is bad to see Simbhu doing a film like this.
Verdict: The film has no connection with the story and the title. Everyone performed well in the film. The actors are good but there is no proper story in the film which is a drawback. On a whole, the film fails to impress.
