Power Star Pawan kalyan, one of the biggest superstars in South India, has come up with his latest movie, Sardaar Gabbar Singh. Scripted by Pawan Kalyan himself, the film has has been hyped a lot and it has been released in more than 2000 screens across the world. All the fans are in hope that Pawan will recreate the magic of Gabbar Singh. Does it live up to expectations? Let’s find out here.
Story
Rattanpur is ruled by the feudal overlord and the cruel coal mafia man Bhairon Singh (Sharad Kelkar). He creates terror in the village and wreaked havoc on the lives of the villagers for mining. Bhairon Singh usurped the lands of the villagers by killing many of them. Sardaar Gabbar Singh is transferred as the inspector of the Rattanpur Police Station to solve the problem.
On other hand, princess Arshi want to help the villagers but she and her care taker Harinarayana ( Mukesh Rushi) faces obstacles from Bhairon Singh. Sardaar falls in love with Arshi and romances her without knowing that she is a princess. Meanwhile, the feudal overlord's eyes fall on Arshi and decides to make her as his second wife. As the story progresses on, Sardaar locks horns with Bhairon singh. But both Sardaar and Arshi fell in a helpless situation.

Performances
Pawan kalyan is the pillar of this movie and once again gives a powerhouse performance. As usual, he rocks with his style as a cop. Kajal Aggarwal is beautiful and her glamour show is a visual delight. Her sizzling chemistry with Pawan kalyan is a treat to film lovers.
Sharad Kelkar looks stylish as a villain but he has nothing much to perform. Mukesh Rishi has done what is required for the role. Brahmanandam and Ali evoke some laughs. The others have done justice to their roles and added value.
Technicalities
A few songs by Devi Sri Prasad are catchy and title song is is effective on screen. The screenplay of the movie is good and given the scope of the film. Production values are good as the makers have spen​t 70 crore for the film. Many scenes dragged. Cinematography is ok. Dialogues are below par, and not that good compare to Gabbar Singh. Pawan Kalyan tried his best to make it a complete action-masala film but he picked up a weak script.

The only thing we can talk about the film and the only saving grace for the film is Pawan Kalyan who carries the entire film on his shoulders, and does a brilliant job. His dances, the way he uses guns and the comic timing are in his inimitable style.
The story of Sardaar Gabbar Singh is quite routine, and has nothing new ​to offer. However, the screenplay that makes the film an interesting watch that too in bits. The real story begins and the major plot only shapes up before the interval. This time comedy of jabardasth gang and others is not fun any more. Although Sardaar has its good moments, like the dances of Pawan and a couple of comedy scenes, but there is nothing spectacular about the film. The first half is good with loads of comic scenes thrown but several scenes in second half are dragged.
Verdict: Strictly for Pawan kalyan fans. Sardaar Gabbar Singh is definitely not a super hit film that Pawan fans are desperately looking for but it can be watched for the sincere efforts put in by Pawan.
