Allari Naresh's Selfie Raja has hit the theaters on Friday.Let’s see whether it lives up to its expectations or not.
Story:
Raja (Allari Naresh) is crazy about selfies. His craze for selfies lands him in several problems. He falls in love at first sight with Swetha (Kamna Ranawat). Swetha is the daughter of a police commissioner (Nagineedu). With the consent of both the families, they get hitched. But Swetha avoids Raja due to some reasons and she abandoned him.
Dejected over the life, Raja decides to end his life. He made several attempts but failed to kill himself. He goes to notorious contract killer Kaaki (Ravi Babu) seeking his help to eliminate him. Killer Kaaki assigned this contract to Bheems.
After a series of unexpected events, Swetha comes back to Raaja. What will Raja do now?. How will he escape his death?. Who is Beems here?. forms rest of the story.
Performances:
Allari Naresh, who plays a dual role in the film, has delivered a good performance and proves once again that he can carry a film on his shoulders. Many of his comedy scenes with other comedians have been executed well.
New baby Kamna Ranawat gets a meaty role and is a perfect match for Naresh. Sakshi Chaudhary's role is quite limited but she tries to impress the viewers with her glamour. But both of them will not leave any impression with their performances. “30yrs Industry” Prudhvi got a hilarious character and brings some laughs. Others including Saptagiri, Ravi Babu, Jabardasth comedians and Nagineedu carry of their roles very well.
Technical:
Production values are impressive and the producers have made sure the film has wonderful production visuals. Sai Kartheek's music is average and songs cause major hindrance to the flow of the film. Editing could have been much better. Dialogues are good and witty as well. Though the director G Eshwar Reddy wrote an engaging screenplay, he failed to entertainer the audience.

Analysis:
The story of Selfie Raja is quite routine and predictable. Allari Naresh has done a decent job but to no avail. The first half of the film offers some laughs , but it completely misses the track post interval. The twists and turns that are showcased in the film are just ok.
The disappointing narration and illogical screenplay spoil the experience of the movie. Songs have become major hindrance to the flow of the viewers. Ravi Babu's characterization is not good and his role wasted in the film.
It is another disappointing film from Allari Naresh that will not work at the box office. Besides some witty one liners and a few funny spoofs there is nothing new in this film that's really worth watching.
Overall, those who are expecting a hilarious comedy entertainer from Allari Naresh will be disappointed with this flick.
