Female lead Ragini Nandwani, does a decent job and emotes her role convincingly. Sakshi Chowdary performed decently. Ajay does his best and gives in a honest performance. Satyam Rajesh is good in his comedy role and brings come comic relief. The others including Ranadhir did their bit as required.
Plus Points:
Sagar's performance ,
First half,
Production values,
Background score, interval episode
Minus Points:
Narration
Second half
Technical:
Production values of the film look rich and it can be clearly seen in the film that producer Dasari Kiran Kumar has not compromised anywhere. Music is average, as none of the songs are impressive but backgorund score is attractive. Camera work is quite decent in the film. Editing could have been better.
Director Dayanand's work is not that impressive and the film could have been better if the narration was good.
Analysis:
Awesome performance by Sagar helped the film in becoming a good entertainer. The actions sequences in the first half have come out well and they keep you glued to the screen.
The chemistry between the lead pair is also good. The main highlights of the film are some intense scenes in the fist half , the production values, and Sagar. On the flip side, the weak narration and dragged climax upsets the proceedings. First half of the film is breezy but second half should have been engaging and the director lost grip over proceedings at crucial juncture. Production values are quite grand and all the scenes have been showcased quite nicely.
Overall, Siddhartha can be watched easily for once if you can excuse the loop holes.
