Mahesh mania is on.. Srimanthudu the most awaited movie of Prince Mahesh Babu hit the theaters today. Directed by ace writer turned director Koratala Siva, Shruthi Hassan as female lead, top actors Jagapathi Babu and Rajendra Prasad in important roles Srimanthudu was made under the banner SRI MYTHRI MOVIE MAKERS. The flick is jointly produced by Y. Naveen, Y. Ravi Shankar and C. V. Mohan. Hero Mahesh Babu himself is a co-producer for the flick too.
After Aagadu, this is the project Mahesh took up and ever since the movie started off, it seems to have hit nail to the head. There is a lot of anticipation about how the movie is going to be and how it might stand at the box office..

Story Line:
Prince Mahesh played the role of a billionaire Harsha in the movie. He's glued in a role of a youngster who craves a niche for himself and prefers to give a stand by his own without the support of his father. In the process of giving back something to the society, he adopts a village.
There follows a flash back associated with the village he adopts. Jagapathi Babu who is roped up in the role of hero's father Ravi, plays the crucial role in the movie. Emotions well played by all the roles perfectly, the movie takes us away. Why did Jagapathi Babu abandon the village and what were the consequences that force Mahesh babu to adopt the same village is the main content of the story.
Sruthi Hassan plays the role of Charuseela who is seen in a commendable role. Harsha falls for Charuseela and Charuseela avoids Harsha as soon as she comes to know about his family.
The connection of hero's family with the village, what leads to the adoption of the village by a billionaire is to be watched in theaters only.
Roles And Performances:
Mahesh Babu's performance is the main draws the whole attention in the movie "Srimanthudu". Mahesh Babu is seen in both romantic and emotional faces. He just adopted the role so well that he made hundred percent justification.
Shruthi Hassan at her best must say. Not only that she appears an oomph in the role of Charuseela, her acting skills proved in the movie. Chemistry between Mahesh and Shruthi worked so well that is conjures the audiences.
Jagapathi Babu is seen in a very majestically written role. He suits perfectly in the role of a billionaire and Sukanya played the role of female opposite with him. Rajendra Prasad, comedians Vennela Kishore, Ali, and all others are seen justifying in the respective roles.
Ali and Vennela Kishore were good at their wits and the comedy was worth a few laughs.
Technical Aspects:
Koratala Siva's engaging screenplay and punch dialogues, Devi Sri Prasad's soundtracks and background score are perfectly interwoven.
R Madhi's cinematography is definitely a big plus. The dance sequences, choreography are in a perfect sync adding more colours to the movie.
Koratala Siva's content is the strongest element for the movie. He perfectly dished out the best of the best to the audience. Conceptualization has been very clearly elevated. Every scene is placed in a perfect juxtapose. DSP's Bgm in a perfect sync. High production value is obvious in every frame. Commercial elements bombarded with sentimental elements.
Overall Filmybuzz Review:
Koratla Siva's best movie till date. Story narration, screenplay, direction, characterizations, editing... all the elements perfectly blended. First half engages a few romantic touches with superb visuals.
The twisty sentimental touch hits to the audiences directly. Mahesh Babu was for sure upto the image evoked. The main content of the movie is well narrated reaches the audience and that too bombarded with pakka commercial elements, the movie is definitely a super duper hit. Quite entertaining and at the same time commercially built.
Verdict: Genuine, commercial, sentimental, unanimous hit.
