Young Mega Hero Sai Dharam Tej as the hero, Regina Cassandra as the heroine, Subramanyam For Sale hit the theaters today. Under the direction of director Harish Shankar who gave to the industry, all time hit Gabbar Singh the movie got released under the banner Sri Venkateswara Creations.
STORYLINE: Subramanyam is the role played by Sai Dharam Tej and he appears in the role of a young man who believes that money is everything. In the greed for money, he leaves for America, where he eventually meet up a girl Seetha( Regina). Seetha, who already gets dumped by an NRI boyfriend seeks Subramanyam's help as she gets trapped in a problem.
Subramanyam, who gives atmost priority for money, agrees to help Seetha as she promises him a fair amount of money. In this process, Subramanyam accompanies Seetha to her home. Due to unavoidable circumstances, Subramanyam acts as Regina's husband and from there comes a twist in the story. The rest of the movie is to be watched in theaters only...
ROLES AND PERFORMANCES: Hero Sai Dharam Tej is seen in a very energetic role. His performance is just going to echo. Tej definitely has hit the nail on the head through this movie. His passion towards movies is obvious as he have given his best in all aspects. Sai Dharam Tej is to garner praises for his performance in this flick.
Regina Cassandra has given hundred percent justification for her role. The Chemistry between Tej and Regina worked out so well. All the other roles were not so justifying. Director failed to utilize the star cast properly.
Naga Babu had nothing much to do in this movie and other stars are not properly utilized too. Heroine Adah Sharma's presence made no sense. Comedian Bramhanandam's was just a namesake role.
TECHNICAL ASPECTS: Harish Shankar's way of narration lacked a freshness and he failed in satisfying the expectations. The direction was mediocre. Restrained narration with a predictable screenplay.
Mickey J Meyer's music went along with the movie but did not give much impact and BGM is fine. Camera work is good with a rich capture of the lens and other technicalities are fine. Production values are uncompromising. It's a directional disaster as Harish Shankar could not utilize Sai Dharam Tej properly.
Plus Points: Sai Dharam Tej's action is definitely the sole highlight for the movie. Take it action or fights or dance, Tej has got best of both worlds. He had proved his caliber and that is obvious in every frame he appears on the screen.Regina-Teja's chemistry worked wonders. Regina's hard work is obvious and appreciable.
Minus Points: A predictable storyline, weak narration by Harish Shankar. No freshness in the screenplay and as it is an old story, it leads to boredom too. No decent entertainment as the comedy goes only with double meaning things. The movie totally lacks a freshness and fails to keep the viewers gripped. Though the first half of the movie takes off well, it gets extremely dragged as it proceeds towards ending in the second half
FILMYBUZZ REVIEW: Once watchable. Sai Dharam Tej is just gonna impress all the audience for sure. After Gabbar Singh, the expectations on Harish Shankar got highly heaped but he failed in meeting those expectations.
It appeared like a patchwork of all the inspired pieces from different movies. Tough predictable, movie is entertaining.
VERDICT: Film exclusively relies upon the hero- Sai Dharam Tej. Story predictable and routine taking. Once watchable!
