Story
Susheel's parents fix an alliance for his with Satya. But much to the shock of everyone, they realise that his horoscope tells that he is already married. It is then that Susheel recalls that he playfully tied the knot with his childhood friend Tanuja as a kid. Then Susheel goes looking out for long lost childhood friend Tanuja. During the course of the search, he meets various people and faces different situations. What happens next and what will become of Satya and will Susheel find his childhood love? This is the storyline of Vamsi's Vennello Hai Hai.
Performances
The hero of the film, essayed by Ajmal, looks moronic and merely goes through the motions with unmistakable disinterest. He looked jaded and the heroine has little to do.
Technical
Vamsi has an interesting storyline and has everything he loves - rural melieu, love and hero tracking heroine. Then there are typical Vamsi mark twists and turns in the story. But, the film has a narration that is both boring and time-barred. The screenplay makes one think that he is trudging a much-beaten track. What is worse, the comedy track that all Vamsi films boast of, is sadly missing. So the fare is insipid and uninspiring.
Filmybuzz analysis
Save a couple of good songs, the film has little to offer and the Vamsi touch is sadly missing. You'll never regret giving the film a miss. Vamsi looks out of colour and out of focus. His direction is lack-lustre and jaded. This could perhaps go down as one of the worst films in the director's career.
As a result, the film refuse to lift up the mood and the run-time becomes a tortuously boring affair. There are some positives. The music is catchy and the tunes are impressive. Camera work is pleasant and the editing is just about okay.
