Though started long back, ‘Nakshatram’ has been in the shooting stage since then. There were many speculations that the film was shelved and the team had to release a press note clarifying all these rumors. They said that the shooting part is completed barring a song and it will have a star heroine. So, discussions started over that star heroine.
Already the film comprises of Regina and Pragya Jaiswal and now the team is looking for a star heroine for a special song. Usually star heroines perform special songs in big films like Shruti Hassan in ‘Aagadu’ and Kajal in ‘Janatha Garage’.
As ‘Nakshatram’ consists of actors like Sundeep Kishan and Sai Dharam Tej, it will be interesting to see who accepts this offer. As Krishna Vamsi gave a break to Kajal with ‘Chandamama’, reports say that she may be roped.
As Tamanna charges heavily for item songs, she may not be the crew’s choice. As there are rumors that shooting up of budget is the reason for ‘Nakshatram’ delay, we have to wait and see whether this item song materializes or not.
