One of the movies the audience are super excited to watch is BHARAT ANE NENU. Being it a political drama, there are hoped pinned on this project, as the expectations are heaped. Mahesh Babu as the hero and Kiara Advani as the heroine, it seems like Koratala Siva is all the way to hit another blockbuster. Here is an interesting interview with Mahesh Babu.
Q. What convinced you to take up the role of Bharath, though you seemed to be hesitant at first?
A. I know nothing about Politics. That is why I was hesitant to take up this role. But, Koratala Siva's vision is so clear that I had to give it a nod. His way of approach and the whole presentation is what made me accept this movie Bharath Ane Nenu. I watched a few videos of my brother-in-law, Jay Galla, addressing the parliament, I even closely observed the speeches. Other than that, I did not prepare anything to play this role.
Q. Is this a satirical attempt to address the current politics?
A. We did not try to imitate or do anything which is particularly subjected to criticize politics. It was very difficult for me to bring in those emotions and recite lengthy dialogues. I learned a lot about politics as it became a case study with Koratala Siva. Politics isn't a joke. I am hoping that young people will be interested to become a part of the political system after watching Bharath Ane Nenu.
Q. We think you are quite confident. Is it your gut feeling or are you sure of the concept?
A. From the very beginning, we are all very confident of the movie. When I heard the song "VACHCHADAYYA SWAMI" I was really excited. The whole thing around the movie appears like something big is to happen. Ya, gut feeling and also confidence in the content we have put in the movie. I am very sure Bharath Ane Nenu is going to be a huge hit. I already feel like a blockbuster is in my hand.
