It is a common thing in the Tollywood film industry to see the heroes turning singers. Earlier, Jr NTR, Pawan Kalyan, Nithiin, Ravi Teja, Balakrishna, and others have done it. Recently, Ram Pothineni also followed the same by testing his luck as a vocal artist for his own film titled as Hello Guru Prema Kosame. Along with Prakash Raj, Ram crooned for "Idea Cheppu Friendu" which was composed by Devi Sri Prasad and penned by Chandrabose.
The song has more of Ram rhythmically reading the lyrics than actually singing for the tune. The song sounded more like a rap which was unpleasant at the hearing. Those who have expected a surprise from the team were hugely disappointed with this stint. Yet again Ram encountered a failure by singing and he has learned a lesson through it. Many of his fans tweeted him not to attempt singing again as they were worried that their favorite hero will become a target for the trolls.
