Telecom operator giant, Reliance Jio is now eyeing on Tollywood. As per the latest reports, it seems like Jio is planning to lay its foot in digital marketing by releasing quality web series.
On this note, they are in search for talented directors and some solid scripts. If the buzz is to be believed, then they have roped in legendary director Raghavendra Rao’s son Prakash Rao Kovelamudi as the script consultant for them. So, Prakash will pen or prepare different kinds of scripts for web series. Rumors are rife that he also is going to play a vital role in the web series which is going to be launched soon. The demand for web series is growing these days and even 'Baahubali' fame Arka Media joined hands with digital streaming website Amazon Prime and are churning out web series. Praveen Sattaru is the director for that web series. But, it seems like the output is disappointing.
Keeping that in mind, Jio is ensuring that nothing goes wrong. Prakash Rao Kovelamudi is now one of the script consultants. On the other hand, Jio is also planning to organize talent shows and other popular events in the digital world.
