Popular actor Gopichand is failing to score a hit at the box office, over the last few years. None of his movies didn't work which eventually made his market value go down. To strike the jackpot, he is now coming up with a spy thriller called Chanakya, which is being directed by Tamil filmmaker Thiru.
According to the latest reports, the talkie part of this movie will be wrapped up by this month end. Three songs and few patch-works will be done in August. On the whole, the entire shooting will be wrapped up by the end of August. Gopichand will be sporting a thick beard in this film.
Mehreen is acting as the female lead opposite him while Bollywood actress Zareen Khan will be seen in a pivotal character. We hear that the scenes which were shot in the Indo-Pak border will be the highlights of this movie. It is being bankrolled by AK Entertainments. Vishal Chandrashekhar is composing the music.
