Young actor Rakshit Atluri garnered the attention of the film industry and the audience alike with his performance in 'Palasa 1978'. A movie headlined by him is now being produced by AG Film Company., which has collaborated with SVS Constructions Pvt. Ltd for the film titled 'Sasivadane'. Produced by Ahiteja Bellamkonda, Komalee Prasad is its heroine. Directed by Saimohan Ubbana, the film was launched today with a puja event.
After the puja, the 'Muhurtham' scene was shot on the lead pair. Prominent director Maruthi gave the clap, while music director Raghu Kunche switched the camera on. Producer Sarath Marar and others also participated in the event.
Actor Rakshit Atluri, speaking on the occasion, said, "Teja garu is a very passionate producer. As for director Sai garu, he has got a great vision. Saravana Vasudevan, who is a disciple of AR Rahman, has composed the music for 'Sasivadane'. The right team has come forward for the movie, especially Komalee and Garry BH (editor). I am confident that this is going to be a very good movie. I am also doing a film titled 'Narakasura'. 'Sasivadane' is a nice love story that will be loved by the audience. I thank Maruthi garu, Raghu Kunche garu and Sarath Marar garu for being here to bless us."
Producer Ahiteja Bellamkonda said, "We had announced the title of this movie in September. The response was terrific. Rakshit garu, Komalee garu are such a lovely pair. This is the first movie for the director, cinematographer, and composer. We are excited about starting the shoot in December."
Director Sai said, "This is my debut outing. I thank the elders for being here to bless us."
Komalee said, "This project is very special for us. I know a lot of people who are a part of the team. Sai garu's script is awesome, so much so, I okayed the script within five minutes of the narration. I could see the movie as the director gave the narration. I felt happy knowing that Teja garu is the producer. I have listened to the rough track of the songs. They are really good."
Editor and soon-to-be filmmaker Garry BH said, "This is such a nice story. I have been intent on doing the project ever since I listened to the script. The producers are quite passionate. Teja is a good friend of mine."
