It's all in the news that Super Star RajniKanth is to team up with the super director Shankar soon after his upcoming movie KABALI. It is going to be the sequel of the blockbuster movie ROBO!

Elevated based on the Sci-fi streakline, Robo was the best entertainer of those times. Now as Robo-2 is touted to be the sequel of this super hit movie, there are mounting expectations on this project.
Shankar is all famous for his high-budget and visually extravagant movies. Robo-2 will apparently be a 3-D movie according to reliable sources. It is also talked that the movie is to be shot in 2-D visualization which would be later converted into 3-D. Rajni's Kochadiyan(Vikramasimha in Telugu) was a 3-D movie too. But it failed to impress the audience.
According to sources, Nirav Shah is to be in charge of the camera work and he is in the US for this highly technical plan of 3-D visuals for Robo-2. Art direction sector might be managed by Muthuraj.AR Rehman will be composing the music for this monumental movie.
