Colours fame Swathi as the female lead and Naveen Chandra(Andala Rakshasi fame) as the male lead, Tripura is all set for its release. This movie, being directed by Raj Kiran (Geethanjali fame) is produced by A Chinnababu and M Rajasekar jointly. We have managed to catch a small interview with one of the producers of Tripura.

Q: Why is the release pre-scheduled so promptly?
A: We had planned to release the movie on November 27th initially, as we felt that Deewali season might be a little busy. But, some of the movies got postponed and therefore November 6th was the date we felt it would be fine. So, we have made arrangements to release the movie in Telugu. Tamil version will be released as per the initial schedule only.
Q: As is it an impromptu decision to release the movie so soon, did you face any problems?
A: We had everything readily. And also the business of the movie was closed long back. These days it is very difficult to get theaters for small budget movies like Tripura. But, we managed to get nearly 600 theaters for Tripura. So, we did not face any kind of problem.
Q: Tripura has got famous already. Any special reason?
A: Yes. Tripura has a good following even before its release. There are three reasons for it. Firstly Raj Kiran- the director who made a movie like Geethanjali, the second reason is heroine Swathi who has been on a successful path with back-to-back hits like Swamy Rara and Karthikeya. The last but not the least the third reason is, the contribution of Kona Venkat Veligonda Srinivas who are the most talented technicians. The trailers and posters also had a great impact. I am sure it will reach the expectations too.
Q: A few words about Tripura?
A: This movie is totally in contrast with Geethanjali. That is a full to horror, comedy. Tripura is going to be a complete family entertainer with thriller elements. There are all the elements that are blend into the movie. There is comedy and a horrific streak too.
Q: Swathi's role in Tripura?
A: The girl is a little messy and a little sassy. Swathi has played the role of a village girl who is haunted by dreams since her childhood. Some how, all her dreams turn out to be real in her life. Swathi has justified her role by 100 percent.
Q: It is in the news that the budget for the movie was more than expected by the time the project got done. So, what do you have to say about this?
A: Yes. The budget we initially planned for was a little lesser than what actually we invested. We went along with the output of the movie. We did not feel that it was going beyond the limits as the story demanded a fair amount of budget. Going with the budget, we are all set to release the movie with table profits.
Q: Next projects from your Crazy Media?
A: We will be planning for the next project only after Tripura's release. We have plans to team up with Swathi for the next project too.
