Another star from Akkineni family who is all set to carry the family hierarchy into the field of films is, our smart lad Akhil Akkineni. VV Vinayak who is all famous for his prowess in making intense action movies is the director for the movie which Akhil is to be launched with a grandeur.

Q: What can we expect from Akhil-The power of Jua?
A: Akhil-The power of Jua is hyped as a socio fantasy movie. But, in reality this one is a full-to comedy flick. There are no fantasy streaks in the movie. The movie is elevated upon a story which is based upon a region in Africa. There the people call the sun as 'JUA'. Jua is a denotion for power. The run-time of the movie is 2 hours and 10 minutes and I am too confident that the movie is going to attract the audience.
Q: Main reason behind the delay of the movie?
A: There is an intense fight sequence towards the end of the movie. We were not so satisfied with the fight. Even Nagarjuna Sir suggested that the only thing that was mediocre in the movie was that particular fight. Eventually, DQ Entertainments took over the project to give some touches of CG Works. But, we had no re-shoots. This is the only reason behind the delay of the movie.
Q: Akkineni fans were disappointed by the delay. Do you have to say anything about that?
A: Initially, Akhil was slated for Dussera release and fans were very upset as it got prolonged to release the movie. Then, Nagarjuna sir took over the situation and called for a press meet. After Nagarjuna sir explained the reason behind the release, fans extended their support.
Now, that it is all set for Akhil's release, fans are very excited. And one more thing! If it was a Dussera release, we could'nt have managed to book as many theaters as now.
Q: How do you feel like, when you realize the fact that you are bearing such a big responsibility of launching a star kid?
A: Akhil caught my attention in the very first movie that he appeared(Manam). Since then, I had in my mind that I have to make a movie with Akhil. Yes! I feel tensed when I realize the fact that Akhil is a son from such a huge family linage. We worked very hard for a good story streak and content. We strived not to compromise in quality anywhere. I took this movie as my own responsibility.
Q: Akhil's performance in the movie?
A: At first I expected that Akhil would start off taking his father's image into consideration. But, no! Akhil came up with a very fresh and different look and attitude. I never ever felt that I was directing a debutante. He has done an excellent job in maintaining the timing in comedy too. He has in him all the commercial elements that a hero should have.
Q: What is the best quality that you appreciate the most in Akhil?
A: Akhil worked really hard for this movie. He practised the dances, fights so much that he fell ill on the sets one day. We all were very worried. He has that thriving passion in him which I love the most.
Q: Tell us about Sayesha Sehgal?
A: Sudhakar Reddy Garu has a friend named Shiva who lives in Mumbai. In between some conversation regarding the selection of heroine, he told us that Dileep Kumar sir's grand daughter is about to get launched too. We okayed Sayesha as soon as we saw here. She is a very talented, dancer and a very good performer too.
Q: Mahesh Babu complimented you in the audio function. How did you feel?
A: I felt very happy that Mahesh Babu came for the audio launch. When Akhil approached Mahesh Babu and asked to do a little byte, he himself promised to Akhil that he would attend the audio function. I really got stunned when he complimented me on the stage. I am looking forward to make a movie with Mahesh Babu with a budget of 100 crores. I will approach him as soon as I get ready with the script.
