Srinu Vaitla’s Mister has been released to lukewarm reception and has received mediocre reviews. The film failed to pull the crowd in the Telugu states. The talk hasn’t been positive as the second half is clichéd and followed Vaitla’s beaten track.
Reports from overseas too aren’t encouraging. Makers were alerted by the poor talk and public response and are planning to take some damage control steps.
The producers felt the film was longish and that the audience might not like more than two hours long flicks. So, they chopped off a song and few scenes. Sources say the film trimmed by nearly 15 minutes.
If only they did that before the release?
