Mani Ratnam is undoubtedly one of the creative and brilliant directors in the industry. After facing some debacles, Mani Ratnam finally scored a hit again with his recent release 'Nawab'.
Though the collections of the movie are not satisfactory at Telugu box office, the film is doing well in Tamil. Touted to be a gangster drama, the star-studded film impressed the audience. On the other hand, an unknown caller called Mani Ratnam’s office number in Chennai and demanded to remove some controversial dialogues from the film. Also, the caller threatened to bomb the office if they fail to remove those dialogues.
The staff from the star director's office immediately got alert and informed the police. The investigation is still going on. However, such threats are not new to Mani Ratnam as he had faced many of them during the making of his controversial films 'Roja' and 'Bombay'.
