Malayalam actress Priya Prakash Varrier's debut film Oru Aadar Love has been dubbed into Telugu as Lovers Day. The film is gearing up for the release on 14th of this month. Thus, the Telugu version's producers Vinod Reddy and Gururaj held a press meet this morning to share more details about the film. Here are the excerpts from the meet:
What is the reason behind buying the rights of this film?
We are keen on buying the rights of the film since the beginning. Thus, amidst heavy competition, we ended up buying it successfully. We are very much confident about its success and Priya Varrier will definitely get a huge following in the Telugu states.
It seems like you are very much confident about the film's success.
We were quite skeptical to watch the film when the director called us and informed that the first copy is ready. But after watching the output, we are very much confident now. That is the reason why we planned to promote it in a big way.
Is the film made strictly for youth?
No, this film will cater to all the sections of the audience. Even people of over 60 years, will also reminisce their younger days after watching the film. Even though all the actors are newcomers, everyone performed very well.
Why were you emotional at the pre-release function?
I am a great admirer of Allu Arjun. His presence at the event made me emotional on that day. I once again want to thank him for attending the event. It helped the movie to get promoted in a big way.
How was the pre-release business of the film?
It went very well. We got around 10-15 buyers in each area to buy the rights of the film, keeping aside the other recommendations. As per the business, we went really good and we are happy with it.
