Looks like the Telugu film industry is opening its arms to raw and bold content very often these days. It has become a trend to use cuss word in the films, which was considered as a crime just a few years back. After the likes of Arjun Reddy, there is one more film which is gearing up to portray some intense raw moments on screen.
It is Falaknuma Das, directed by Vishwak Sen, who also played the main lead in the film. An official remake of Malayalam film Angamaly DIaries, this movie features gang wars between two sets of youth who hail from Falaknuma Area of Old Hyderabad. The teaser, which was released the other day, is packed with some intense action moments and raw dialogues are spoken in Hyderabadi dialect.
Pelli Choopulu director Tharun Bhascker is making his acting debut with the film, where he will be seen as a ruthless cop. In fact, there are very few films in Tollywood which portrayed the culture of Old Hyderabad in an authentic way and this film looks like yet another one in the list. It is gearing up for a summer release. Saloni Mishra, Harshita Gaur and Uttej played other important roles in the movie.
