Mahesh Babu who scored a blockbuster with 'Bharath Ane Nenu', is going to enthrall us with his 25th film 'Maharshi' under the direction of Vamsi Paidipally.
Pooja Hegde is playing the female lead in the movie. Now, an interesting update about the movie is doing rounds on the internet. If the buzz is to be believed, the movie will have a scene of the tragic mishap from history that took the lives of so many people in the Godavari district. In January 1995, East Godavari's Krishna-Godavari basin, a gas pipeline blew out near Pasarlapudi village. This biggest ever gas blowout in the history of India has turned 65 villages into ashes and nearly 1500 people were evacuated. Rumors are abuzz that this event will be a turning point in Maharshi's story. The official confirmation is yet to be revealed.
However, the movie is gearing up for a grand release on May 9th. So, we have to wait for the release to get a clarity. Let's see.. On the other hand, PVP, Dil Raju and Ashwini Dutt are bankrolling this project.
