Rashmika Mandanna Shetty aka Rashmika made her debut with the Kannada film Kirik Party. Later, she made her debut in Telugu with the film Chalo and scored a big hit. The major success for Rashmika in Telugu is the film Geetha Govindam where she was paired alongside Vijay Devarakonda. Now, she is busy with the actor again for the film Dear Comrade.
If gossips in the filmnagar are to be believed, Rashmika Mandanna is going to play the romantic interest of Akhil Akkineni in his next film, directed by Bommarillu Bhaskar. Geetha Arts will bankroll the project. The makers earlier considered the names like Alia Bhatt, Pooja Hegde, Kiara Advani and others but nothing really worked out.
Finally, the producers felt that Rashmika would be a perfect choice and approached her. She is said to have reacted positively and the official announcement on the same will be out soon.
