Arjun Jandhyala is making his debut as a director with the movie Guna 369. RX100 fame Karthikeya Gummanakonda is the lead actor in the movie. Srimathi Praveena Kadiyala is presenting the film under Gnapika Entertainments and SJ Movie Makers production houses. The film is releasing on 2nd of August. What is your response to Hippie result?
We worked hard for the movie but it did not do as per our expectations. We believed in the content of the film. But, this time, we took great care in making of this movie.
What is the reason behind having this as a title?
From the beginning, we all wanted the movie to have Guna as the title. Since Kamal Haasan's iconic movie is also Guna, we just added 369 for a better sounding.
What is the best part of the movie?
The story is the best part of the movie. It is not a regular commercial story. The movie tells the story of a middle-class guy based out of Ongole. The film is made based on some true incidents. The story of the film is close to my heart and there is also an interesting message in the movie.
How is it working with the director?
Arjun Jandhyala is one who has a lot of clarity on what he is making. He does not add unnecessary elements in the script and takes a lot of care. Our thoughts are almost the same.
Are you working in Geetha Arts?
No. As of now, there is no such planning. I would love to be a part of their production though.
What are your upcoming movies?
I am doing Gang Leader currently. Another film in the direction of Sri is in the pipeline.
