Speaking at the pre-release event of Manmadhudu 2, KinG Nagarjuna said that he likes August month a lot and revealed the reason behind it. "Recently, my show Bigg Boss has started and is getting a good response. Mamadhudu 2 is releasing on 9th August and I will be turning 30 by the end of this month."
He went on to add, "The first Manmadhudu deals about the man who hates women and this films talks about the man who loves women. Thus, we have completed a full circle." Nag said that many people asked him why is he doing a love story at this age and the actor replied that this story will suit his age and clarified that people can fall in love with any person of any age and there is nothing wrong in it.
Heroine Rakul Preet Singh said that she has signed the film right after the first narration given by director Rahul Ravindran. She stated that her role Avantika is packed with naughtiness and she thoroughly enjoyed doing it on screen.
