Victory Venkatesh officially announced that he is doing the remake of Asuran in Telugu. Srikanth Addala is the director of the movie and Venkatesh has evinced complete trust in the director that he would do a great job. Meanwhile, the buzz is that Anushka Shetty is approached to play a key role in the movie.
Apparently, we have come to know that Anushka has been approached to play the role that Manju Warrier played in the original. It will be Venkatesh's wife's role in the film. The buzz states that Anushka is showing no interest to take up the role as she wants to restrict herself from doing such roles for some time now.
Anushka is said to have asked the makers to approach some other actor and made it clear that she will not come on board for the project. The makers are now considering the other options. More details about the project will be out soon.
