Allu Arjun was supposed to team up with producer Dil Raju on the movie ICON. Sriram Venu is confirmed as the director for the project. The official announcement of the film also came out. But surprisingly, Allu Arjun brought Sukumar's film forward and shelved ICON for the reasons unknown. Dil Raju spent a lot of money for the pre-production works of the film.
Apparently, the industry buzz is that Allu Arjun is not in good terms with Dil Raju now. During the discussions of Sankranthi releases clash at the box-office, Dil Raju's support is with Mahesh Babu since he is also a big stakeholder of Sarileru Neekevvaru. Apparently, this irked Allu Arjun and his team.
Allu Arjun is said to be hurt that Dil Raju did not support him and both are having a cold war between them. Initially, everyone thought that ICON will take off after Sukumar's film but there is no buzz about the same.
