From the last few days, the film celebrities in the south have poured in donations to help the government in fighting against the coronavirus. Southern star heroes like Chiranjeevi, Rajinikanth, Allu Arjun, Prabhas, NTR and Ram Charan pledged crores of amount towards the relief funds. Now, Bollywood is also taking such steps. Bollywood Superstar Akshay Kumar took the initiative. He revealed that he will donate Rs. 25 crores from the PM-CARES fund.
Announcing his donation of Rs. 25 crores, Akshay Kumar tweeted, "This is that time when all that matters is the lives of our people. And we need to do anything and everything it takes. I pledge to contribute Rs 25 crores from my savings to @narendramodiji’s PM-CARES Fund. Let’s save lives, Jaan hai toh jahaan hai."
Now, we have to see how many other Bollywood celebrities will contribute to this fund
