Q) Srimanthudu is to hit theaters in a week. So, How excited are you?
A) I am too excited for the movie to get released. I am sure the audience will surely like the movie. Mahesh Babu is the hero and Koratla Siva the director these both are definitely the added advantage. So, obviously there is going to be the mark of their caliber in this movie.
Q) How did you feel like working with Prince Mahesh?
A) Its obviously every heroine's wish to get roped up along with Mahesh. In The past I have worked with him for a Song in AAgadu. Even with such a following and hyper stardom, he looks simple and casual in the sets. He is always cool and his sense of humour is to be appreciated. Had a good time during this project.
Q) Did you listen to the story narrated or readily accepted the offer because its the film featuring Mahesh?
A) There is an impression that Mahesh's movies are always good and I even like the characterization. I knew it from the beginning that the movie is going to be a big hit and I did not want to loose any opportunity to act in such a film. Obviously I was ready to sign for the movie.
Q) A few words about your characterization in Srimanthudu?
A) I play the role of Chaaruseela in the flick. Its a contrast role I have done for this movie. I appear to be simple but my ideologies in the movie is showcased strongly. I think there is no hint of any other characters I played in my past. I like to experiment in contrast roles and this movie is one of those unique ones.
Q) Can you share how it was to work with Koratla Siva?
A) From my perspective, Koratla Siva garu is a cool teacher. He conveys everything in a cool and moderate manner. He tries hard to get the output he wants. He is so calm and subtle in the sets too. He knows how to sync the roles well. I learnt a lot of things from him.
Q) This is the first flick being made under the banner Sri Mythri Movies. How do you feel being a part of it?
A) I am happy and I feel lucky. I never make an assumption that it is a big banner or a small one. The producers of the banner are quite passionate about movies. They know exactly how to take the movie into the audience. After all hard work is what it matters.
Q) What is that you like the most in Srimanthudu?
A) There is a particular scene from the movie when two families get together. In this particular frame, the stars from 3 generations share the screen together. This specific scene is the most loved scene.
Q) Did you yourself dub for the flick?
A). No. Though I can speak Telugu, my voice doesn't suit well for the role I played in this film. Even if I look in a modern attire in the movie, the role I play is of a village girl. So, my accent doesn't go along with the role. OOPS! I am not allowed to describe more than this about the movie. But I am looking forward to dub by my own for my roles.
Q) Upcoming projects?
A) Presently I am working for a Hindi movie and two projects in Tamil. I am being offered with many roles but I am being selective. For me, There is no specific streak that I choose. I prefer acting in all the languages-Telugu, Tamil and Hindi.
