Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt starer Gully Boy, which was released last weekend, has gained a good response from the audience and having a successful run at the box office. The film is based on the real-life hip hop rappers based in Mumbai, Naezy and Divine. Now, plans are being made to remake it in Telugu.
It was already heard that top producer Allu Aravind is planning to buy the remake rights of the film. Apparently, actor Sai Dharam Tej is wanting to play the lead role in the film. The supreme actor is hoping that the story of a slum kid going up from rags to riches, will suit him.
If everything goes as planned, the film is expected to get launched very soon. Meanwhile, Sai Dharam Tej is currently busy shooting for the film Chitra Lahari which is being directed by Kishore Tirumala. Kalyani Priyadarshan and Nivetha Pethuraj are playing the female leads in the film.
