Evergreen and ever-smiling anchor of Telugu small screen Suma, donned a new hat. She turned a singer with Sai Dharam Tej's Winner.
When asked her about the singing experience, Suma gave entire credit to music director Thaman for getting her into singing. " One fine day, Thaman called me and said there is a song for me and I should sing. I thought it was a prank call. When Thaman said that he was serious, I gave it a thought and decided to sing," she said.
Suma didn't know that she was singing for Anasuya till she landed in the recording studio. She says she was more thrilled to sing the song for Anasuya. " Soon after finising the song, I called up Anasuya and revealed that I crooned for it. She was quite happy and was even more excited for the song," Suma said.
