Post ‘Govindudu Andarivadele’, creative director Krishna Vamsi took a long break and started to make ‘Nakshatram’ starring Sundeep Kishan and Regina in the lead role. As we know, Sai Dharam Tej and Pragya Jaiswal are playing brief roles in this thriller. The film created quite a buzz with its making videos and teasers but the film is getting postponed from long time.
The film was supposed to get released by the end of 2016 but it is finding it hard to hit the marquee till now. Insiders say that post the stupendous success of ‘Bichagadu’, the producers of ‘Nakshatram’ had bought the dubbing rights of Vijay Anthony’s next ‘Bethaludu’ for a heavy price. Sadly, that film resulted in huge losses for them and this is the main reason for the delay in the making of ‘Nakshatram’.
While many trade circles say that the film may not release in the near future, hope the issues get solved quickly and the film releases without any trouble.
