90 ML is the latest Telugu film starring Karthikeya Gummanakonda in the lead role. The movie has got a unique subject where the hero dies if he does not consume alcohol. The fictional tale is narrated and directed by the newcomer Sekhar Reddy. Karthikeya produces the movie under his home banner. The film hit the screens today. Story: Devadas (Karthikeya) is born with an alcoholic syndrome. He needs to drink 90ML of alcohol three times a day to survive. He falls in love with Suvasana (Neha Solanki) who hates drunkards. Then Jon Wik (Ravi Kishan) enters their love story and tries to ruin their relationship. What will Devadas do? Can he control his drinking problem? Can he save his lady love? What happens in the end forms the rest of the story.
Performances: We can say that Karthikeya is the biggest asset for this movie. The actor breathes life into his character and will definitely impress the audience with his energetic performance. Even in the emotional sequences and action sequences, Karthikeya's performance is the major highlight. Neha Solanki is gorgeous and also her cute performance added much strength for the film. Rao Ramesh is perfect for his role and delivered an honest performance. Ravi Kishan acted naturally in the movie. Ali, Posani Krishna Murali, and Ajay also impress the audience with their performances. Kalakeya Prabhakar and Pragathi delivered honest performances in the movie. Adhurs Raghu's screen presence is also good. The rest of the actors also made their presence felt.
Technical Aspects: Director Sekhar Reddy Yerra has proved that he has some impressive storytelling skills and came up with an interesting plotline for this film. He took a different concept and laced a simple story around it. His narration is also excellent, and the director has succeeded in presenting the story in a good way. Production values by Kartikeya Creative works are too good and helped the movie a lot. Music by Anup Rubens is too good. A couple of songs are good, but his BGM is truly impressive. We can say that his music elevated each and every scene in the film. Cinematographer J.Yuvaraj has produced some striking visuals for the film. Editing by S.R.Sekkhar is clean.
Verdict: The film has a unique storyline that keeps the audience engaged. The movie starts off on an interesting note, and the first 10 minutes of the film will make the audience understand the major plotline. The rest of the film is all about some things Hero has to face because of his drinking problems. The director gave more importance to the entertainment factor in the film, which became the biggest plus point as most of the scenes and comedy worked out really well. We can say that Karthikeya has carried the role with so much energy. The interval block is superb. The second half is also equally entertaining. Performances, story narration, entertainment, and BGM, are the plus points of this film. There are n major flaws in the movie except for the simple storyline. Overall, '90 ML' gives us an excellent entertaining ride.
