Story: Valmiki ( Murali Sharma ) is a normal middle-class person who works under a millionaire boss. He intentionally swaps his newborn baby with his boss Ramachandra( Jayaram)'s baby in the hospital. A nurse witnessed this incident but goes into a coma. Valmiki raises his boss' son Bantu (Allu Arjun) and wants Bantu to never find out about his original parents. But, one day, Bantu comes to know about his original parents and goes to them in Vaikunthapuram. What happened then? How Bantu about his original parents? forms the rest of the story.
Performances: Allu Arjun will be the biggest plus point of this film. The entire movie revolves around his character and we can say that Bunny has justified his role with so much ease and energy. Pooja Hegde looked beautiful in the film and also acted naturally. Tabu is truly an asset to this film and her amazing performance in the film made the movie even more interesting. Sushanth got a meaty role in this film and the actor has delivered his best performance. Nivetha Pethuraj looked pretty and promising in the film. Rajendra Prasad and Vennela Kishore's comedy timing is outstanding and will definitely make the audience laugh. Sunil's performance is worth appreciating. Murali Sharma breathes life into his character. The rest of the actors also made their presence felt.
Technical Aspects: Director Trivikram Srinivas has come up with so many interesting and different kinds of characterizations for this film and also the star cast helped him to narrate the story he wanted to do. His pace of narration is a little bit slow. Trivikram mark entertainment and dialogues make the audience stick to their chairs. We can say that the director has blended the story with so many emotions in a decent way. Production values by Geetha Arts and Harika and Haasine Creations banners are very high. Music by SS Thaman is just mesmerizing. Not only the songs but also his catchy BGM became the biggest plus point for this film. Cinematographer PS Vinod has produced some beautiful visuals for the movie. Editing by Navin Nooli is neat.
Verdict: Having a solid storyline itself is the biggest plus point for this film. Director Trivikram Srinivas not only focused on his mark entertainment but also succeeded in preparing a solid story and narrating it in a proper way. Though the movie has a simple plotline with so much entertainment and emotions, we can say that he has succeeded in keeping the audience stick to their chairs. The first half will be like an entertaining ride for the audience and the interval twist is good. Things start getting slow in the second half and some of the scenes felt draggy. However, Trivikram mark dialogues and Allu Arjun's wonderful performance will be the major driving factors for the film. Performances, entertainment, and BGM are the biggest plus points of this film. There are no major setbacks in the movie. To conclude, 'Ala Vaikunthapurramloo' is definitely a worth watching movie.
