Story:
The Dandupalyam 2 reveals about the journey of the gang. The film tells the story of those saying that whether they had really committed the crimes or not. What is the reason behind the grudge on them by police officials is also revealed in the second part of the film?.
Performances:
Every single artist of the gang has performed well in the film. They expressed every single emotion very well and came out with some natural acting. All the actors delivered good performance within the limits of their role. Pooja Gandhi did well in her role and as expected Sanjana Galrani delivered a very good performance in the film. Sanjjanaa and Pooja's performances stand out in the first half and three twists in the first half is the highlight of the film. Makarand Pandey is an asset for the film. Ravi Shankar also did well in his role as an antagonist.
Technical:
Arjun Janya music and Venkat photography are the main highlights for the technical department. The grey and brown tint mix added a glow to the cinematography. The extent of violence is a bit over board. The director maintained clarity on what all he wanted to show in the film. The director also dealt on minute detailing about the core subject of the film. There are a few questions unanswered in the film but the director's vision has a lot of clarity. The editing is okay. The artwork is interesting. The lyrics are good for the tunes.

The first look posters and the theatrical trailer already set an opinion on the movie and it is sure that everyone won't be liking the movie. The director must be knowing this in advance only. The film has a scene in the jail where Pooja Gandhi gets harrased by a person which is very violent. On the other hand, the movie also suffers from lot of logical issues and repetitiveness of murders. There is a lot of difference between natural cinema and realistic cinema and the film Danduplayam 2 comes under the name realistic cinema which is very much interesting in its own manner. The director has come up with a good subject and made it in a very realistic way that has impressed many in the recent times. The film is not for all classes of the audiences but it will impress many.
