Story:
Ganesh (Sunil) is a middle class man and son of a teacher. He goes to any extent to help people who helped him when he was in troubles. During his childhood, a dreaded gangster Bairagi(Kabir Singh) saved Ganesh's life unknowingly. Ajay decided to change Bairagi who creates terror among the people in Vizag.
In the process, he falls in love with Bairagi's sister Sahasra (Mannara) at first sight.
How will he win Sahasra's love?. How does he change Bhairagi? forms the rest of the story.
Performances:
Sunil proved long back that he is at ease in doing comedies. With Jakkanna, you can see a new Sunil. He does his job supremely well and has carried out his role with aplomb.
His coming timing and his comedy involving Saptagiri is enjoyable. Mannara Chopra has nothing much to do but show her assets. Prudvi is his usual best and make people fall off their chairs laughing with his spoofs. Saptagiri brings many laughs and is very good in his role.
Kabir singh as villain impresses with his looks and and acting. Others are okay.
Technical:
Production values are decent and Jakkanna is one of the visually rich films when compared to all his films till date.
Cinematography is decent but editing is bad and could have been much better. Dinesh provides music for the film which has a couple of decent numbers. All songs have been shot well and Sunil impresses with his dance moves. Dialogues are witty.

Analysis:
Jakkanna is a comic caper like Sunil's earlier films.Though the film has predictable plot, the film works to some extent as it has good laughs.
The plus points of the film are comedy and songs. On the flip side, it lacks story line and one gets a feel that the proceedings are dragged a bit too much. If you can ignore illogical scenes, Jakkanna a decent comedy film that does not bore you. Saptagiri's memory loss scenes and Prudvi's lengthy spoof evoke good laughter and makes things breezy.
The director couldn’t get many of the scenes right in the movie and story of the movie is illogical. If you are looking for a big wow factor, then Jakkanna leaves a lot to be desired.
Watch it for comedy and Prudvi's spoof dialogues.
