Mathu Vadalara is the new movie that released on Wednesday, on the occasion of Christmas. Sri Simha Koduri, the younger son of music director Keeravani made his debut as an actor with the movie. Keeravani's elder son Kala Bhairava too made his debut as a music director with the film. Ritesh Rana is the director making his debut. The film has backing from Mythri Movie Makers. Story: Babu (Sri Simha) is a delivery guy who wants to earn more money. After listening to advice from a friend, Babu decides to play a trick to loot money from customers. In the process, one day, he gets involved in a big crime that turns his life upside down. What is that crime? How did Babu get involved in it? What happened in the end? Forms the story of the movie.
Performances: Sri Simha is undoubtedly the show stealer of this movie. Though it is his debut movie, the actor has showcased a lot of maturity in terms of acting and has delivered the best performance in the movie. The way Sri Simha has blended with the character is really quite impressive. Naresh Agastya gave his 100% essaying his role. His energetic performance added more strength to the movie. Athulya Chandra not only looked beautiful in the film but also has delivered an energetic performance in the movie. Vennela Kishore justified his role and succeeded in evoking some good laughs in the theatres. Satya and Brahmaji also acted naturally. The rest of the actors also made their presence felt.
Technical Aspects: Director Ritesh Rana has come up with an interesting plotline for this movie. The director has succeeded in engaging the audience throughout the film with his narration. We can say that the director will definitely impress the audience with his way of presentation of the story. Production values by Chiranjeevi and Hemalatha under Mythri Movie Makers and Clap Entertainment banners are rich. Music by Kaala Bhairava is the biggest plus point for this film. His astounding BGM elevated all the scenes in the movie. Cinematographer Suresh Sarangam has produced some bright and colorful visuals for the movie. Editing by Karthika Srinivas is clean.
Verdict: The movie has got a simple plotline but it has many layers to it. The movie starts off with a simple point of interest and then it goes into a crime drama mode but ends up dealing something different. The best part is that the makers did not leave the fun aside when dealing with the interesting elements. The film has got its highs and lows but the highs impress the audiences by making them overlook the lows. The performances are good and in a limited budget, the young film unit did their best in coming up with the decent output. All in all, Mathu Vadalara is worth a watch.
