Story: Gautham (Vijay) is in love with Yamini. Life passes by as they both heads into a live-in relationship. One day, Yamini feels odd and calls for a breakup in her life. Gautham's life comes to a stop and he starts writing a story, World Famous Lover. What is it all about? What is Gautham trying to prove? What happens in the end? Forms the story of the movie.
Performances: Vijay Devarakonda is undoubtedly the show stealer of this film. It is evident that the actor has worked really hard for his character in the movie and he has succeeded in showcasing the variations of his role very well. Rashi Khanna breathes life into her character and has delivered her best performance in the movie. Aishwarya Rajesh went under the skin of the character and justified her role. Catherine Tresa got a meaty role in the film and she will grab the attention with her beauty as well as performance. Isabelle Leite is also too good in her role. The rest of the actors also made their presence felt.
Technical Aspects: Kranthi Madhav took a really interesting plotline for the film. Despite having some shortcomings, the director has succeeded in generating the story in an entertaining way and will definitely engage the audience throughout the film. His pace of narration is also worth appreciating. Especially, in some scenes, Kranthi Madhav's taking will really impress the audience. Production values by KA Vallabha and KS Rama Rao under Creative Commercials banner are very rich. Music by Gopi Sundar is the biggest plus point of the film. Not only his songs but also his BGM will make it easier for the audience to connect well with the story. Cinematographer Jaya Krishna has produced some beautiful and sleek visuals for the film. Editing by Kotagiri Venkateswara Rao is clean.
Verdict: The film showcases love at different phases of life and each story has its own emotion and will definitely give a beautiful and entertaining ride to the audience. When compared to the first half, the second half is equally good and has some hilarious scenes as well as the romantic scenes which will keep the audience engaged. The story is also really good and the narration made the film even more beautiful. There are no major shortcomings or minus points in the film. Apart from slow scenes in the second half, most of the scenes are quite impressive. The movie has so many plus points including the performances as well as the BGM. To conclude, 'World Famous Lover' is definitely a must-watch romantic film.
