No hero would have dared to spend four years of his career on one film. But, Prabhas dared to do that for magnum opus ‘Baahubali’. Though he had eight months gap after the first part, he did not commit himself for another movie. Though ‘Baahubali’ gave him a national wide fame, it is a disappointment for his fans as they got to see him onscreen only twice in these four years.
But, Prabhas promised his fans in the pre-release event of ‘Baahubali-The Conclusion’ that he would come up with at least two films per year. If he manages to keep up his promise, then Prabhas would be the top South Indian star in terms of revenue. His market got increased by leaps and bounds post ‘Baahubali’. Earlier, his films had a maximum budget of 30-40 crores. But now, budget of his films would easily cross 100 crores. His next film with Sujeeth is made with a budget of 150 crores which is a trilingual where Prabhas will be reportedly getting a remuneration of 25 crores.
After the release of the second installment of ‘Baahubali’ his craze would increase more and he could maintain that 25 crore remuneration. So, if he does two films per an year, then can be in top of Forbes highest earned artists list every year.
