'Geeta Sakshigaa', which is set to release on March 22, is directed by Anthony Mattipalli. Its trailer launch event was today graced as the chief guest by 'Naandhi' director Vijay Kanakamedala. The film is an intense emotional drama based on real-life incidents and stars Aadarsh and Chitra Shukla in the lead roles. The promotions are in full swing and the posters, first look, teaser, and song releases have created a good buzz around the movie. The trailer of the movie was released on Tuesday at an event held in Hyderabad.
Speaking on the occasion, Editor Kishore Maddali said, "Director Anthony has been my good friend for 15 years. This film has been made by a very good team. Thanks to the producer Chetan garu for ensuring superb quality."
Actress Charishma said, "Thanks to producer Chetan garu and director Anthony garu for giving me this opportunity. We have made a film high on emotions. I thank the artists and technicians for their full support."
Srikanth Iyengar said, "Thanks to Rajamouli garu and the 'RRR' team. As for our film, Chetan garu entered our Telugu industry from Mumbai. I want him to do more good movies here. Anthony gave me a very good character. He had to put up with my anger issues. Both Aadarsh and Chitra have done so well. A movie with a very good message and commercial elements."
Hero Aadarsh said, "Thanks to director Vijay, who scored a super hit with the movie 'Naandhi', for coming here to support us. Thanks to our producer Chetan garu for giving me a wonderful opportunity. We are lucky to have such a good producer here. I want him to be here for the long haul. With this success I want him to do more films in Telugu. Director Anthony's dedication levels are high. After the success of this movie, he will get opportunities from big banners. In recent times, the Telugu audience have favored movies with strong content. Our movie, too, shall join the league. Please watch this movie in theatres. The movie will release on March 22. Everyone is appreciating us after watching the recent songs and today's trailer. Music director Gopi Sundar garu provided wonderful music. Every frame is superb."
Heroine Chitra Shukla said, "Thanks to SS Rajamouli, Jr NTR and Ram Charan who brought Oscar to our country. Coming to our film, the experience of working with Srikanth Iyengar garu was great. Thanks to our director Anthony and producer Chetan garu as well. This is a film revolving around women's issues. I hope I have one full justice."
Film producer Chetan Raj said, "I am a distributor from Mumbai. Generally, in our country, women are worshiped as motherly figures. The woman is the embodiment of Shakti Herself. As a child, as a wife, as a mother, and as a friend, that energy constantly supports us. Atrocities are being committed against such mothers. I got acquainted with Aadarsh when I was thinking of making a film centered on the subject of atrocities on women. The director joined us later. Anthony has executed the story so well. We are bringing this movie to you on March 22. We want your support."
Director Anthony Mattipalli said, "Usually when we read the news about girls being raped in the media, we feel very sad. Aadarsh became my acquaintance when I was thinking about the issue intensely. When I listened to the concept of the film, it seemed to be close to my thoughts. I started working on that story. I researched how the police department and courts react when atrocities are committed against girls. I have taken inspiration from many incidents that I have read about in making this film. I have not directed any film before. Even though I was a new director, everyone was very supportive."
'Naandhi' director Vijay Kanakamedala said, "I witnessed the visuals by cinematographer Vijay six months ago and was really impressed. Thank you to Chetan garu, who came here from Mumbai to do our Telugu movie. I want him to do more good movies. I know Aadarsh from Dhee, the TV show. He also acted in TV serials. Now I am getting acquainted with him as a film hero. The trailer is very good. Chitra Shukla chooses performance-oriented characters. I wish the movie's team all the best."
'Naandhi' producer Satish Vegesna said, "I thought of the title of 'Gita Meeda Maatladuthu' long ago. But the title 'Geeta Sakshigaa' is better in comparison. It is clear from the trailer that the movie is made with a solid concept. Looks like the actors and technicians have done a great job. This film should become a hit."
