With the movie Paatas, Nandamuri Kalyan Ram gave a dazzling re-entry. It is Kalyan Ram's "SHER" that is on the way now. Under the direction of Mallikarjun, the movie SHER is slated for its release on 30th. Let us see what Kalyan Ram has to share with his fans.
Q: How is Sher going to be?
A: Sher is going to be a regular family entertainer. There are no lengthy dialogues and twists in this movie unlike my previous movies. I have appeared in a role of a Civil Engineer. This movie is based upon the relationship between a son and his father. The viewers get upset only when they expect more from a movie. But, this movie is going to be a very entertaining one if one goes and watch without any expectations.
Q: What care did you take regarding the script?
A: Sher is the project that was accepted by me long before Pataas. Due to unavoidable reasons, Sher was postponed. After Pataas, we tried to improvize some elements in the script of Sher. We added more entertainment. There are some frames in which Brahmanandam garu and myself have attempted to add high dosage of humour onscreen. It will be quite entertaining.
Q: What is the bond you share with director Mallikarjun?
A: I have done movies like Abhimanyu, Kathi under the direction of Mallikarjun. I have a special bond with him and I have travelled my career along with him. I have seen his confidence when he gets involved into a project. He is a very highly talented director. I am sure he has done a very good job for this movie too. He is the most hardworking person from the team. I wish he gets a hit with this movie.
Q: How do you treat yourself during success and failures?
A: I have lost a differentiation between these two things. I don't think much when there is a success but, I do think about where it went wrong when its a failure. I try to rectify my mistakes everytime.
Q: Do you like to act in experimental movies?
A: Of course I do. I always prefer doing naive and contrast movies. Om is one such movie that I tried to give my best. We took a lot of care about the 3-D technology for that movie. Sometimes the results are not in our hands. What we have to give is upto us. And what happens is not something we can control right? But, what I have analyzed is, a dragged flash-back would have been the main reason for the bad output. I am going to take care of such things when I plan to attempt any such experimental movies.
Q: What's the reason behind the change of heroine?
A: Her screen presence was not appealing. Re-shoot also was not done properly. We just had completed talkie part by then.
Q: What is NTR's opinion about this movie?
A: NTR takes a very good care of me and the movies I do. We talk to each other about every thing but we don't share it with anyone else.
Q: When are you going to produce your brother?
A: Next year for sure! Wait till we announce the news officially.
Q: Next projects?
A: I really want to do atleast 2 movies a year. I am ready to get busy but it should be a good project. Have a project in hold and will announce the news officially soon.
