Ever since Kalyan Ram's Paatas worked out well at the box office, there are mounted expectations about his latest movie SHER. With basic elements and entertaining track of story line, Sher hit the theaters today. Check out the movie review:
Gautham (Nandamuri Kalyan Ram) is an energetic young man who lives with his parents(Rohini Rao Ramesh) and a brother. Gautham takes up his father's construction business while his brother is a good chess player. Gautham some how gets into an issue and locks horns with a person called Puppy(Vikram Jeet).
Puppy is one of the close associates of a mafia don(Mukhesh Rishi). Gautham meets Nandu(Sonal Chauhan) and love blossoms between them. Puppy who is a revengeful person, tries to marry Nandu with a ploy. What happens next is to be watched in the theaters.
Roles and Performances:
Kalyan Ram is seen very conjuring in mass appeal he has given in Sher. His way of showcasing the emotions and family values is too good. Expression wise and performance wise, Kalyan Ram has done a good job. He has given his best in action sequences.
Heroine Sonal Chauhan had nothing much to do in the movie but, she looks cute and elegant. Her stylish attitude adds a charm to the beauty. Vikram Jeet who has played the role of villain, is handsome and stylish. Justified his role. Brahmananda's comedy was worth some laughs. Fish Venkat and MS Narayana also were funny.
The movie is nothing more than a regular commercial one. The story is based upon a regular family oriented track mingled with action streaks. No hype and no high elevations. Quite entertaining though. It would be better for the director to opt for more powerful content the next time. But, Mallikarjun must be appreciated as he has showcased every element well. Improvement in the story line will definitely give a break to the director.
Songs are okay okay. Sarvesh's camera work is fine. Decent production values.
Filmy Buzz Verdict
It is like the fans get more excited about the upcoming movies when one movie comes out well. So, after Paatas, Nandamuri fans might have double the expectations which turned out to be a kind of disappointment. But, it is a decent commercial, one time watch movie.
Finally Routine, Regular Commercial Movie .
