Q: Akhil is one such movie that is now a hot potato of the industry. What is it like to be a part of this flick?
A: It is an absolute pleasure for me. I really feel so lucky for being a part of this movie. Akhil who has such a grand background from the Akkineni family being launched in this movie, and me being the lead female actress in the same movie makes me feel so blessed. I really cannot imagine more grandeur. I am sure the movie will definitely reach up to the expectations.
Q: You belong to a family which has a rich background. Dileep Kumar Sir is all famous in Bollywood. Then why not debut there?
A: Well, this was not planned at all. I had to debut through a Bollywood movie titled "Shivaay". The movie's pre-production works were getting delayed and by that time I was being called to sign for Akhil. Everything happened so un-intentionally. I am very glad that I am being introduced in such a big movie.
Q: About Akhil(Movie)?
A: This flick is a full on entertainer. There are all those elements in the movie what an commercial movie must have. I have played the role of a college girl named Divya. Divya belongs to a very good family and she is a very innocent girl.
Q: Both for you and Akhil, this movie is a debut one. So, how was it like working with Akhil?
A: Akhil is a very dedicated guy. He is even cool and funny on the sets. He worked so hard for dances and seeing him so dedicated, I was like even more motivated to work harder. Akhil has in him all that which will keep him in a very high position one day.
Q: About the director VV Vinayak?
A: I never felt that I was in an entirely new place. VV Vinayak sir never made me feel that I was a debutante. I also did not face any difficulty with the language. Such was VV Vinayk sir's treatment. Even Nithin's dad took care of me very well. I felt that it was a home after home and all of them made me feel so comfortable. Even on the sets, Vinayak sir was so cool and hence I could do the movie comfortably.
Q: Have you taken care of your acting skills even before entering into movies? Have you taken any training to improve your acting?
A: No! I did not do any formal acting course. But, I tried to learn things from a professor who teaches at National School of Drama. I have taken training in different dance forms.
Q: Next projects?
A: As I told earlier, I have signed a movie titled Shivaay. The shoot has started and Ajay Devagan is the hero in this movie. And Shivaay is going to be my Bollywood debut.
Q: So, in both Bollywood and Tollywood you are being launched so grandly. Where are you going to settle?
A: I feel so lucky for being launched in big movies. For me both Hindi and Telugu industries are equal. I want to continue in both the woods. I will go according to the subjects.
Q: About the experience through the movie Akhil?
A: I have learned a lot of things. Telugu film is one such industry which is an extended family for me right now. People over here are very supportive. If I am here infront of you'll today, it is only because of the support of the people of Telugu industry. Even the support from the viewers is awesome. I wish I get more connected with the people and audience here. Thank You all.
