It is indeed, the "Kumari-21F" fever all over. The movie which hit the theaters recently is minting money with huge collections at the box office. The way this story got connected with the youth is really awesome. And here is an interview with one of the main reasons behind this grand success- Devi Sri Prasad. Read what he has to say about this flick:
Q: What is the response you are getting for Kumari-21f?
A: It is mindblowing. We expected that the movie would definitely be a successful one. I should admit that, as it is a bold concept, there was a fear somewhere. But, the response from the side of the audience is mounted.
Q: You need guts to attempt such a project. What kind if support did you get from the industry?
A: Everyone ws so helpful and in every step, we had a lot of people who encouraged us in all the ways.NTR was very excited about this movie. His response after watching the movie is a very humble gesture. Mahesh Babu, Bunny, and Ravi Teja also called up personally and I am very thankful to all of them.
Q: What was the thing that inspired you to do this project?
A: I instantly accepted to work for this project as soon as I was narrated the story. The concept touched me somewhere and all credits to Sukumar.
Q: Did you compose dance for the "Bang Bang Bangkok" song?
A: Yeah! It was during the composition of the song that it was decided that I would be composing the dance too. I tried doing some signature steps during music composition and Rathnavelu wanted me to choreograph for the song.
Q: So, anything you want to share about the upcoming project?
A: Both Sardar and Nannaku Prematho are huge projects and I have given my best. The music I have composed came out well. Pawan Kalyan sent me a message appreciating my work for composing a romantic number for Sardar. Both of the movies are to become the greatest of hits for sure.
