Q: How come you have taken so much time to do a movie after your last project?
A: After Ravi Teja's Veera, I had plans to make a love story. It was planned to introduce Naga Shaurya through this movie. But, as no one came up to produce a movie with debutants with an investment of rupees 4 crores, we had to wait. Then, Naga Shaurya became busy. At last, here it comes.. Abbayitho Ammayi.
Q: What is Abbayitho Ammayi all about?
A: This movie has a message. The youth of this generation live in the virtual world mostly. This movie showcases the concept around the facebook love and the effects it has in the lives of people. Not only the youth will get connected with the story, but also the family audiences will relate to the movie.
Q: What improvisation do you see in Naga Shaurya's acting now?
A: Naga Shaurya, was being a little tensed to face the camera before. Now that he has got experience, he has that ease in his acting. He shows maturity in acting now.
Q: Maestro Illayaraja has composed the music for this movie. How was it working with him?
A: Illayaraja sir and I share a very good rapport. We share many things and I once narrated the story of Abbayitho Ammayi to him. He told to me that he wanted to compose music for this movie. He also suggested me that this movie must also be made in Tamil. I am so happy that I got to work with him.
Q: Abbayitho Ammayi is being released amidst huge competition. Anything to say about that?
A: We are very confident about the movie's concept. Buyers and traders also suggested that the movie is to be a very successful one.
Q: What about the next projects?
A: One movie with a well-established hero is being confirmed. It is titled "Vastha Nee Venuka". Another movie "Idhedo Bagunde Cheli" is also on the cards. Looking forward to starting another movie in March.
